Upcoming HoH comp

I know you tried to start this thread last week, chap, and I hijacked it thinking it was about the unknown HoH since feeds were down so long, so let's try again.

I really have no idea what the comp will be this week, but I'm fully expecting the show to go off the air again this week without the comp even being started. I expect that to go through the first 4 evictions until this asinine twist is over.

So far this is what we've seen for each multiverse:

Scramble-verse Week 1 where HoH turned into nom comp, week 2 veto (spoiled by EW article)

Scary-verse Week 2 HoH - The Nether-gorgon puzzle/athletic comp

Humili-verse Week 1 veto atomic wedgie comp while building puzzle

comic-verse Nothing has been done with this yet and I highly doubt we will see the comic book comp this early in the season

Well they were put on indoor lockdown very early this week so it is either going to be something physical that takes up some space (and needs setup), or there is going to be more to it than just an HOH comp, like the multiverse will do something bigger as well. Remember that Bowie was not told anything and did not have to designate anyone for anything, so it is possible that she either chooses someone or is called on to do SOMETHING. Some hg's are speculating she can steal a vote or something next week, but that doesn't seem very likely. I just wonder if she will be called to do something on the spot Thursday and her choice will affect whether or not Reilly is actually evicted or something. Of course that is my way of trying to figure out a way for her to stay, which is very unlikely.

Well we know that it is the pressure cooker HOH. At least Felicia doesn't have to worry about this one. I don't see Cirie, Izzy or Red doing well in this one at all just because of the fatigue and the fact that I don't actually think Cirie or Izzy either one WANT HOH, they just want to pretend they do.

There are several that this would favor like Jared, Matt, Cory, Mecole, America, Jag and Blue. I have no idea about Bowie but she barely opens her mouth let alone want to be HOH, so I don't see her staying in there anyway. Cory will 100% be throwing. Unless America gets wind of her being in danger, she will throw it as well. Jared is once again not in a position to win it because he would have to break trust with people to put someone up, but his ego and the fact that he wants that room to be alone with Blue will probably be more important to him than thinking about the ramifications of winning.

Matt wants HOH so he can have one-on-ones with people and figure out things about them to know how to move forward, but I think there are a lot of people who would try to take advantage of his naivete in the game. He really likes Felicia and America and talks to them more than others. Jared tries to talk to him but the body language from Matt shows he doesn't really respect a lot of what Jared has to say (which is smart on his part). He is a loyal person and is supposedly in this group of 7 that includes (who else) Cirie and Izzy so they will try to steamroll him for sure.

Red keeps assuring Cameron he will become part of the Professors once Hisam is out, but if that doesn't happen, a Cameron HOH right now might just be called for. He is on the block all the time anyway, so why not take the power, make some deal that actually have a chance to stick and shake shit up a bit?

So we know the pressure cooker will be the HOH comp and it is obvious which of the people left in the house it would probably favor and who is probably not interested in winning it.

Well the newest alliance (the 7 deadly sins) consisting of Cirie, Izzy, Felicia, Jag, Matt, Blue, and Jared have hatched a plan for next week's week's noms based on who wins from their team. Not sure why Cory is NEVER part of any of these alliances but is supposedly part of the final 4 with Jared, Izzy and Cirie, but here we are.

Basically the targets are Red, Cameron and America with half the alliance putting up Red/Cameron and the other half putting up Cameron/America. The reason being that the people who are leftover from the professors don't want to put up Red so he won't be on alert, but it was my understanding that Red was successful in adding Cameron to the professors so him going up is going to put him "on alert" anyway.

In any case, I am hoping that something from the multiverse screws this shit up if someone from the 7 win HOH (unless it is Matt, cuz I want him to get a chance to catch up in the game a bit before being thrown into the fire). Maybe Red, Cameron and America end up being ineligible to be nominated for whatever reason. Wouldn't that throw things into a tizzy?

And of course if Cameron wins he has said he would go after Blue/Jag, but I'm not sure he really will if he isn't actually brought into the professors or something like that. Also, I think Jared would run interference on that one to keep Blue off the block. But if he were to win, then maybe the multiverse keeps Jag and Blue from going up. Then what would they do?

Can you imagine Izzy finally getting her win and thinking she has an easy week only to have her 2 nominations ripped away from her? I do find that very enticing, but not sure I can stand another week with Cirie and Izzy running the house.

I'd love to see her win an HoH. We need someone that Cirie is NOT in an alliance with. I know taht doesn't leave many people. Cory is 100% throwing this one just like he has every other comp. He will need to stop throwing eventually. He's still my dark horse to win the whole thing.

Yes, I would LOVE to see America win, and she seems to have gotten the idea she might be in a bit of trouble, but I still don't know if she will push it that hard. She has been trying to recruit Matt to her side, not like an alliance, but just some trust. She is talking about helping him with hearing in rooms with multiple people talking and things like that. She is also saying they could meet each day and she could help him understand what is going on. This is a nice gesture, but it is also a reason to pick his brain about things he is involved in as well. She is very smart, but she really needs to stop getting all her information from Cory because for whatever reason he suddenly doesn't care if she stays or goes.

Well America has told Cory a few times in the past couple of days if she wins HOH, she is going to put up Felicia and Izzy. This is because Cory has told her he thinks Felicia would be the one person in the house who would put the 2 of them up together. Of course it could just be all talk, but wouldn't THAT be something to watch? Izzy thinks her and America are really, really close so that would be pretty interesting. Funny thing is that Cory really doesn't push back on that kind of talk.

Yes, I know this isn't really very likely, but it really would be something to watch and one can only hope.

And we also don't know if this new power will come into play (Whenever this power is used, the outgoing HoH should be eligible to play since they got robbed of their HoH) It may even been a memory type of thing but that would surprise me as that should be used later in the season when they have more air time to fill. One thing I'm sure of is that with the invincibility comp being played on Thursdays show, CBS will use that as a reason to not start the HoH comp

Damn it! You are right Ctown, this will be the reason not to start the HOH comp until after the show. I would really like to see these people have to compete in front of a viewing audience instead of behind the scenes. I wondered about a majority rule kind of question comp because last week they were all talking about answering certain questions and things and it was out of the clear blue.

In fact it was after the feeds were down and it was speculated they got music and things. When the feeds came back, Jared was all pissy with Blue and stuff for a hot minute. They talked about iconic comps and just general chit-chat that it was either the topic of conversation or maybe they played some sort of game where BB was collecting their group answers or something.

I am thinking it almost HAS to be a mental comp of some kind like maybe seeing pictures or videos and then answering questions about them. It makes you think that Cory or America would be top of the list to win, but sometimes the smartest people do horrible when it comes to something like seeing items and answering questions that are not game related at all.

I think Jared and Felicia will be the first ones out in something like that. Jared is so proud of himself for memorizing how many of certain items there are in certain rooms, like how many teapots or how many vases or whatever. These are things that are sometimes used for tiebreaker questions, but not a whole comp. He was shocked when someone told him about knowing house events and WAS studying them, but clams up pretty quick when people start talking about them.

There are so many people also throwing the HOH's, so there is that aspect as well. America talks a lot about wanting it, and now that she is pissed about Red or Cameron saying shit about her, then she might go ahead and go for it. I just hope something happens where Cam and/or Red can't go up and see if she has the guts to take a shot at the trio of ladies.

Whatever the comp is, it most likely will not be on the live show or the feeds. All because they have to do the invincibility comp tonight so won't have much time. Unless of course they leave the fluff out and get right to the comp, then the live vote but even that's stretching it. The new MO is to go off the air without even starting to get people to view in Sunday. I am not going to wait up until after the west coast airs to find out who it is, I'll just check it out in the morning to find out

I definitely agree with you that we won't see it, but I still think it will be some sort of mental thing. The more I think about it, the comp where they use the emoji's and then ask questions like how many were green or how many have hearts or whatever might just lean toward Blue. She is very visual and she is a social media influencer (brand specialist I guess they are calling it) but even in talking to others about social media and branding and things, it seems like one of the few things she is well-versed about. Of course she would just put up Cameron and Red, but if something goes screwy and she can't put up one of the, I wonder which way she will go? Remember Jared also knows about Matt's power and he is butt hurt that not only did he not get picked to play, but Matt is confiding in his mom and not him.

I have to think Cory is 100% throwing it. Even though he was in the "don't trust category for a day or so" he seems to have been brought back into the fold with Cirie and Izzy for whatever reason. He has also bonded pretty well with Red and Cameron, even though America hates them. He is securely in the middle and won't want to make waves. It would be funny though if he were trying to "make it look good" and there was a mass exodus cuz everyone else blew a question or two and he ended up winning before he could throw it!

Thinking about it. I would love to see Jared fall ass backwards into an HoH. I've talked about what a mess Izzy would be, but I think with Jared you could magnify that by 10. Just imagine the HoH-itis he will have with it after finally winning something. And then he would realize that him winning is the worst thing he could do since he has to finally draw that line in the sand. I think end result would be Cameron and Red since that seems to be what most of the house wants but this scenario leads to me having to post on the wish thread

Wall falling ass backwards into an HOH is probably the only way he wins one, so you got that one right. His "hatred meter" seems now to be set on Red for some reason. I think he might want Red out of the way so he has another bromance (Cameron) to possibly turn to since he has lost Matt to his mom!

So any ideas about what the HOH might be? They lost the yard early this morning, so it might be a decent amount of set up, but it's not a wall or anything that's for sure. On the one hand I really don't want to see a crapshoot unless it makes Cirie win it cuz she DEFINITELY don't want it. I want to see them really have to earn this one because even Cory is getting a bit itchy that his spot is about to be blown up.

Oh, I just thought of a good one. How about they keep them up tonight with audio clues? Not that it is one of my favorite comps by any stretch of the imagination, but the fact that Felicia not be able to tell everyone to go to bed would be pretty funny to watch. I think even Cirie would be bugging out about it. I could see the 2 of them just going to bed because Felicia doesn't believe she is ever in any trouble and Cirie doesn't WANT an HOH in any way, shape or form. Plus it shows the studying groups and stuff. Oh shit, never mind, that might make them have yet another vote flip!

If they have that stupid ball one where they have to have tickets to take a shot better have rules in place that EVERYONE has to take their OWN shots, no passing them off.

I could also see a quick questions one with those magic performers with questions following would be good because at least we would actually know who was HOH at the close of the show, but I won't hold my breath.

They didn't have anyone as have-nots this past week. We have pretty much determined the HOH will be questions and be done by the end of the show. Of course Julie always talks to the hg's after the comp in this situation and asks how they feel, etc. I would like to see her announce that the first 3 people who were eliminated from the comp tonight will be have-nots and the reason being is that we KNOW Cirie will be throwing it, Felicia will be flustered and probably go out early. Can you see them stuck together in that have-not room for the entire week having to be on slop? I pity the 3rd person who is stuck in there as well!

Maybe I should have put this in the wishes thread?

Cory seems to think the next comp will be endurance. I thought that might be the case as well because you are coming out of a week where people aren't too sure about others and targets are moving quickly. Plus it looks like Felicia will be leaving so they don't have to worry about her having her fall off a wall or the slip n slide and breaking a hip.

Usually the first endurance type comp is a wall comp, but they already had the pressure cooker, so I wonder if that changed things up and possibly eliminated the wall comp for now? That being said, there are SEVERAL people who could win a wall comp if they are all actually playing for it. America, Blue, Bowie, Cory, Jag, Matt and Meme. I left Jared off that list because he has a pretty big upper body and sometimes that hinders people in those comps. Plus he has the focus of a gnat and would be screwing around and fall at some point.

Of course, I would MUCH prefer the slip n slide, so that probably means BB production won't do it!

It could be the one where they have to hold something in place with a stick, but I have a feeling the next endurance will be the race one where they have to wait for the word go to pop on the screen. I don't know why that comp even exists anymore because nobody likes it, especially since Christmas won it with a broken foot

I thought of the one holding the stick that Jessica was so zoned for, but since they had the pressure cooker where they had to hold a button, I didn't know if they would do that one again. That being said, it would be a good one to do that I think COULD last a while with this group.

The race one (ready, set, go) really isn't an endurance one because it usually only goes a few rounds and it is over. I like that one to be a veto when there are several people who are really jumpy and NEED the veto for safety.

I REALLY want to see an America HOH pretty soon. I think she would cause some more chaos and uncertainty as well. It would be great to see Jared hit the block. Of course Blue will try to stop that, but I think she sees Jared as her biggest obstacle to keeping Cory attached to her.

MeMe supposedly is pissed that Cory and America get to run around and have fun "not even playing the game" and nobody ever makes them do ANYTHING. She apparently plans to put them on the block together and if veto is used she wants America and Cam on the block against each other. She said other people are just playing "too soft." But I would look at her game and all she EVER does is go with the flow. She will give opinions but then always says she doesn't really care at all. And let's remember she was the one in the veto word puzzle who couldn't even stand up the letters on the platforms!

How funny would it be if it comes down to America and Jared and when he tries to make a deal with her to drop, she tells him no because making deals has been held against her (without specifically saying he was the one to hold it against her) and then she beats him
