Wed 9/13 episode

May as well start this thread now. I completely forgot that for some reason, this is a 2 hour episode. The only thing I can think of as to a reason why is they will give a very thorough recap of the veto comp to promote Buddy Games. Other than that it makes no sense as there is no twist upcoming. They have a hard time filling 1 hour on these shows, let alone 2

It will be 2 hours of Buddy Games garbage. We have the punishments (kayak, pig costumes/dirt challenge, cardboard cutout selfies) and the things for the whole house with the announcing you are going to the bathroom and the stink-o-meter nonsense that we have already seen. The entire house being on slop.

And they have to show all the shit with Jared and Cam jockeying back and forth about using the veto and things like that. I will be interested to see if they put all the crap on Cam about making people squirm and tormenting people just because he can or show that Jared was loving that shit as well. Of course they wouldn't want to show the golden boy doing anything that makes him look bad so I expect to see him look like a hero doing everything to save his mom.

I was initially intrigued with the whole Buddy Games thing coming up, but now, not so much. When they overhype all these shows, it's usually because they're awful. We've seen it time and again.

On another note, be aware that starting this week, Thursday evictions move up an hour to 8:00EST and Sunday episodes move to 10:00/10:30 depending on football.

Once survivor starts, Survivor will take the Wed spot and BB will move to Tuesdays

Yep, I have to make sure I pay attention to this stuff because my satellite provider just lost the CBS channel, so I have to watch it either on the computer or on the antenna TV thing which means no DVR, no pausing or fast forwarding. It is REALLY annoying as hell!

Well we knew it was going to be a bunch of bullshit but this was overkill. But let's get to it.

It was entertaining seeing Cams DR's and him having so much fun with his HoH, but then they had to throw in the Cirie/Izzy sympathy bullshit. It's like production knows that Cirie is falling out of favor with the fans so needed to do something.

Izzy once again proves she is a horrible BB player as she pulls HG choice for veto and who does she choose? Not the obvious person in Cirie, but Jag of all people. If she picks Cirie and Cirie somehow pulls it out, Izzy comes down and Cams whole plan is fucked. Especially at this point with him trusting Jared so much.

Notice how they only showed Izzy talking about not using veto but never showed her backtracking talking about it would make people too suspicious of her if she did. And Cirie can go fuck herself with her DR's about how much she appreciates. They could have at least had her say that while she appreciates, it would be a really stupid move to not use it on yourself, but not gonna stop it if she wants to do that. IT would at least be more believable.

Lets get to the comp. IT was basically Bowl-A-Rama made to look on steroids. The only thing that would have made it more obvious that they were speeding up the film was if they played Benny Hill music during the spins. If you didn't notice, watch again and look at the background players as the person is spinning and see how quick their claps are.

Big surprise Izzy is out first and takes the veto, then we get a huge clue about how DR are scripted because she's still talking about keeping noms the same if by some chance she ends up keeping it. Cam is out next and takes the veto. AT this point I was bored with this comp, it was nothing more than a multi-round crap shoot and took up way too much time, but hey, they have 2 hours to fill.

We all thought Jared took second but find out he took 3rd. Now I really wish we could have seen the whole thing unedited because we all know he did not want that veto, he wanted to take one of the prizes. Now production can only do their manipulation in the DR but I would not be surprised if he looked at Cirie for what to do and she signaled him to take the veto. Now all episode all Matt has talked about in DR is winning veto to keep Jag safe. Now we know those were more scripted DR's because what does he do? He lets Jared keep it because he THINKS he is getting a reward. Others in DR even talked about how everyone who even watched one season knows the final reward is always a punishment. And of course, nobody is talking about Jag not taking the $5000 which should have raised some red flags as well. Him talking about the seven deadly sins controlling the veto and he trusts them shows how stupid he is. How many more times do they have to fuck him over?

Now here is where Izzy doubles down on showing how terrible she is at this game. She knows full well that if she doesn't complete the punishment, she can't play in the next veto, and she goes ahead and takes Cam anyhow. I get the part about not liking him and wanting him to be miserable with her but from a gameplay standpoint it's a stupid move.

So Jared wins veto and immediately boasts about being a legend with his third place comp finish that got him the veto. Then he has his meeting with Cam. I understand it's a tricky space to be in when Cam tells you he wants Cirie as the replacement. But at that point, he fucks it up by naming someone else instead of just saying he thinks they should keep them the same.

The rest of the episode was lame punishment bullshit and then they just had to get the America/Cory showmance thing in there. Notice how they save the part about America telling Meme what a horrible kisser Cory is.

Final thought on how bad production is and think about this. They make this a 2 hour episode to promote the hell out of their new show Buddy Games which premiers tomorrow night immediately following BB. But be sure to turn into the live feeds immediately following for the legendary Wall competition.

I agree that they spent WAAYYY to much time on the veto comp. I have to give Felicia some credit though at 63 years old and out of shape, she gave it EVERYTHING she had for sure. I thought it was very telling that when everyone was over there trying to help her with water and ice and stuff that Cirie and Mecole sat on the bench and watched. I get Izzy is her most important person, but Cirie is a surgical tech and has been for many years. This means she has to know some basic medical/first aide type stuff and Blue contributed more to it than she did by telling people not to crowd her. Then Josh talked into his mic to say get some ice and water out here. I just thought that really showed what kind of self-absorbed person Cirie really is.

Matt and Jag definitely dominated that comp and Jared talking about being a legend made my stomach turn for sure. That has been a topic of conversation today that Jared is talking like he has taken care of the entire group all the time and others need to "pull their weight" when both of his wins have been by default not skill.

And yes, Matt ACTUALLY thought it was a reward, not a punishment. I was watching the feeds when people were talking about it and he was completely embarrassed and shocked when they told him the last one is ALWAYS an embarrassing thing. Then the DR shows him saying that he just kept his "punishment" shows again they are scripted. He couldn't hardly keep a straight face saying it! Also Jag and Matt both looked at Jared to see what he wanted them to do, because remember at that point, they really thought Jared had their back and was on their side. Jag actually thought it would show trust in the group again, which is just plain ignorant, but is really actually true colors for Jag. Thankfully that shit is over.

Now I was pissed that they didn't show Jared telling people he was thinking about using it just to turn the screws on them for shits and giggles and that was with people HE is supposed to be close to. They just never seem to want to show Jared in any light except a hero light and it is getting really exhausting watching it.

The punishments were pretty funny, but they could have showed a quick montage of both and been done with it and showed us conversations instead.
