Jared exit interview

Does he really think we are stupid and weren't watching? He tries to claim losing Izzy as one of the reasons for telling Blue his secret but that was told while Izzy was still in the house.

Now a few questions from this interview were interesting:

You would not believe the number of assholes on social media trying to call this interviewer out for asking such "bullshit" questions and claim Jared should have ended the interview right there.

I found them to be very good questions. I wish he had been pushed more for an answer on calling America the R-word, but it wouldn't matter because all you get is a word salad that pretty much means nothing. He takes about 2 grains of responsibility and then washes that away with a flood of excuses and placing the blame everywhere except at his own feet.

Take this for what it's worth.  You can say he's had a week to reflect on it and see some of the backlash or whatever you want.  Just remember, he hasn't even been out of the house for a full week so has barely had time to decompress.

Regardless of his motivations, I'm glad to see that he at least owned up to and takes the accountability for what he said.  Remember, he is only  human and can only learn from this. He very easily could have ignored this entire thing and in 6 months nobody would remember it

I will give him credit for taking responsibility and apologizing for his words. But that being said, he is hoping for the BB experience to open a lot of other doors for him in the way of the entertainment business. He didn't talk about it a lot but apparently he is dabbling in the music realm a bit and if he doesn't get in front of something like this, that could snowball very quickly for sure. Funny thing is if he would have shown an OUNCE of accountability for his actions while in the house, he might not have had the problems he did have. But in the house it was always someone else's fault, someone else caused everything bad and lying about things that he didn't even need to lie about. So, I wonder if he has been given the advice to answer these questions this way and would like to see how he talks in a few months from now or when he thinks the public isn't looking.

Oh, I guarantee he got some coaching on what to say and how to say it. But he still could have just ignored it. As far as BB opening doors for an entertainment career, in 25 seasons I can't think of a single person that has had the doors opened for them because of BB that is not BB related. Yes, Jeff had his little pre season interview gig for a while and Dick has his Dick at Nite, but those are BB related. The rest of them are just trying to hold on to relevancy because they were HG's, the one who comes closest to an entertainment career is Frankie Grande and I would hardly call him a success. If not for his sister, he wouldn't even have made the tiny dent he has in entertainment

Yep, and it never ceases to amaze me that every season people come into the house and talk about all the doors that will be opened. Now I could see maybe getting someone an interview with an executive of someone in the entertainment industry in some way or maybe some kind of modeling thing or whatever, but to hear Jared talk about it, CBS would be sending him to a record label and getting him a contract because he is so talented and all he needs is that connection. You can actually hear the hg's say the same words that I am sure they are told when being considered to be on the show.

You know what I am waiting for when it comes to Jared? If he doesn't get back with his girlfriend, I think he will consider trying to do Amazing race with Blue. I think that would be a complete cluster fuck for sure, but it would be funny to watch them for 1 or 2 episodes before they imploded and leave the race!
