Thursday 10/26 episode double eviction #2 Empty
PostSubject: Thursday 10/26 episode double eviction #2   Thursday 10/26 episode double eviction #2 EmptyThu Oct 26, 2023 11:46 pm

Well they did get right to it tonight and only showed a few things in the campaigning. They did manage to take the time to show Matt telling Cirie he would have to target Jag at some point and then saying in the DR that he didn't come all this way for the silver medal. Now I have been saying all along that Matt is very different in that he views loyalty as the most important thing and being true to his team, namely Jag, but he also has an affinity to protect Cirie and knows of the people left in the house (now especially with Blue gone) that Cirie would choose him over virtually anyone (although I think that would be questionable if she had a choice to take a less popular person to final should she shock the world and have that choice. And I still stand by that. I believe the "silver medal" line was given to him to say because that is just not verbiage he would use on his own.

That being said I know he realizes it would be an uphill battle against Jag, but he also sees that Jag is carrying a lot more of the blood on his hand he himself hasn't been a target in the same way as Jag which is an accomplishment as well. I think he is thinking if he chalks up a few wins at the end he has a good shot against him. But he also needs to make sure Cirie stays firmly in HIS corner so he will always have that vote should he need it (at this stage that can be critical for sure) and this is why he keeps ignoring all the warning signs of Cirie sabotaging them over and over and over. Now it did piss him off that Cirie told Felicia about Matt even talking about Jag at all and that was probably the STUPIDEST thing she could have ever done. That should have been one she kept to herself until the right time.

And once again we have an HOH comp that has to do with pictures and memory. At least Jag wasn't playing in this one, but still, can we get a LITTLE bit of variety here? I thought Matt was throwing it at first, but then finally started taking it more serious. Cirie did very well and I thought she would win and she either threw it once it looked like Matt might win or she was just getting lucky early and judging from the times she tried to do a last second change on her answer, she was guessing and probably getting lucky but then the luck ran out.

I also wonder about Felicia, she was supposedly going to throw this one, but I started thinking back to the one she tied with Bowie and she told Cirie after that comp that she had guessed and 3 or 4 of the questions and got them right. So, maybe tonight was a more true depiction of her "prowess" in this category after all?

I really thought they might keep America and send Felicia home because Matt thinks Felicia is messing with Cirie and getting her into trouble with Jag and stuff. Plus Bowie was getting closer and closer to America this week, studying together and making future plans. She did mention to Jag at one time she was thinking it might be better to take America to final 4 than Felicia or Cirie because at least they can see America coming at this point, but Cirie and Felicia are a bit more sneaky, and I agree with that. In the closing this looked like Bowie was a bit more sad about the eviction than any other besides Red in this season too.

Oh and the veto comp was okay, but again, not much imagination and about the same as the last one with a little twist added to it. How about that puzzle one where they navigate the peg through a maze, or taking the ball around a maze and into various holes or SOMETHING besides this same old shit. Hell I would have loved to even see the one where they have to untangle the rope.

And if I hear one more time about this stupid mustard seed faith, I am going to vomit. I get she has been on the block 6 times (and of course she made sure to say that during the closing when we were eavesdropping on them) and may be running out of stuff to say, but just say you want to stay and leave it at that.

I forgot about Blue's exit which I thought was great until she started that kitty kitty purr crap. She did it with class. But of course we KNEW she had been told because she still had her dress on and everyone else was in athletic gear. When Julie mentioned that she had been told shortly before the eviction, I wanted Julie to say WHO told her or how she was told, etc. And why don't they show the GB messages? Everyone knows these people are going to jury, so anything they say, they WANT that person to know going to jury. I guess maybe they get to see them in the extended interview, but I kind of wanted to see them as well.

I didn't expect much from this double eviction and I got exactly what I expected. It was complete garbage. I didn't think anything about Blues exit or interview was classy at all. OF course she had to do her little twirl and play to the camera and then she continues to pat herself on the back about what a strong player she is, when in fact, she sucked. She won 1 veto and that was the guess a number one. After this season I hope to never see her on my tv again. And it is bullshit that we didn;t see goodbye messages and they can't claim pressed for time because all they would need to do is cut out maybe 5 of the 8,000 commercials that thye had between segments of the double.

Cirie was 100% trying to throw that comp. On the one question theat only she got right, I saw a look of worry on her face that she may actually pull it off. Bowie actually gave a thought out answer on this one and that's how she won it, even going as far as to do math on her little board instead of just writing down a number. I'm not sure Matt cared about winning it when it got down to him and Bowie and I'm sure come Sunday his DR session will claim that he knows he's safe with Bowie, so threw it to her so he can play in the next HoH.

I agree on the veto comp, as soon as I saw it, I got pissed off by how similar it is to the veto on the last double. They need to bring Heath Luman back for the comps and give him 100% control of them.

And I now have a new reason for wanting to be on the show. Just for the sole purpose of fucking up the double evictions and making them run out of time and get Julie into a panic. On both the HoH comp and veto comp when she asks "does everyone understand" I will say something along the lines of "No, and then start asking all kinds of questions. It will be the very last time Julie asks if everyone understands and I'd probably get evicted right after that or they'd find a reason to boot me!

What I meant about Blue doing it with class was that she didn't act like bitter or angry while in the house and stuff, then hugged everyone when she left. I do agree with you that the kitty-kitty purr bullshit gets on my last nerve. Can you see her during the jury visits or the deliberations?

Oh, and apparently Blue was told by either Felicia or Cirie and then asked to talk to Jag. He had a talk with her. She asked why and he said he knew she wanted to cook him just as much as America did, but he thought she was better at comps, etc. They talked for a while and according to Bowie, they could hear them laughing from that room. Jag said most of their talk was not game related, but when they first started and he told her the truth, she admitted she was definitely going to put him and Matt up if she won the DE, so he said he was glad she said that.

But apparently she did do some talking to various people about Matt and told America something that she shared with Jag. It was something about Cirie wanted to tell Bowie about Blue's plan on how to get the guys out of the game or something and Jag mentioned to Matt that Bowie was the ONLY one who wasn't out to cook them and Matt FINALLY (at least for last night) agreed that even Cirie would have put them up.

Oh and there was confirmation (kind of) that Cirie was absolutely trying to throw that first HOH comp and the one we didn't watch last night once Matt started coming on because she was talking about it to either Bowie or Matt and she said she was doing so well and she thought "uh oh" and then stopped talking. Basically starting to say that she had to throw at that point. But apparently Felicia and Jag were the first one out and Felicia was bitching that everyone was going for her first and Jag said and him too!
