Well they did get right to it tonight and only showed a few things in the campaigning. They did manage to take the time to show Matt telling Cirie he would have to target Jag at some point and then saying in the DR that he didn't come all this way for the silver medal. Now I have been saying all along that Matt is very different in that he views loyalty as the most important thing and being true to his team, namely Jag, but he also has an affinity to protect Cirie and knows of the people left in the house (now especially with Blue gone) that Cirie would choose him over virtually anyone (although I think that would be questionable if she had a choice to take a less popular person to final should she shock the world and have that choice. And I still stand by that. I believe the "silver medal" line was given to him to say because that is just not verbiage he would use on his own.
That being said I know he realizes it would be an uphill battle against Jag, but he also sees that Jag is carrying a lot more of the blood on his hand he himself hasn't been a target in the same way as Jag which is an accomplishment as well. I think he is thinking if he chalks up a few wins at the end he has a good shot against him. But he also needs to make sure Cirie stays firmly in HIS corner so he will always have that vote should he need it (at this stage that can be critical for sure) and this is why he keeps ignoring all the warning signs of Cirie sabotaging them over and over and over. Now it did piss him off that Cirie told Felicia about Matt even talking about Jag at all and that was probably the STUPIDEST thing she could have ever done. That should have been one she kept to herself until the right time.
And once again we have an HOH comp that has to do with pictures and memory. At least Jag wasn't playing in this one, but still, can we get a LITTLE bit of variety here? I thought Matt was throwing it at first, but then finally started taking it more serious. Cirie did very well and I thought she would win and she either threw it once it looked like Matt might win or she was just getting lucky early and judging from the times she tried to do a last second change on her answer, she was guessing and probably getting lucky but then the luck ran out.
I also wonder about Felicia, she was supposedly going to throw this one, but I started thinking back to the one she tied with Bowie and she told Cirie after that comp that she had guessed and 3 or 4 of the questions and got them right. So, maybe tonight was a more true depiction of her "prowess" in this category after all?
I really thought they might keep America and send Felicia home because Matt thinks Felicia is messing with Cirie and getting her into trouble with Jag and stuff. Plus Bowie was getting closer and closer to America this week, studying together and making future plans. She did mention to Jag at one time she was thinking it might be better to take America to final 4 than Felicia or Cirie because at least they can see America coming at this point, but Cirie and Felicia are a bit more sneaky, and I agree with that. In the closing this looked like Bowie was a bit more sad about the eviction than any other besides Red in this season too.
Oh and the veto comp was okay, but again, not much imagination and about the same as the last one with a little twist added to it. How about that puzzle one where they navigate the peg through a maze, or taking the ball around a maze and into various holes or SOMETHING besides this same old shit. Hell I would have loved to even see the one where they have to untangle the rope.
And if I hear one more time about this stupid mustard seed faith, I am going to vomit. I get she has been on the block 6 times (and of course she made sure to say that during the closing when we were eavesdropping on them) and may be running out of stuff to say, but just say you want to stay and leave it at that.
