| I decided to start watching The Traitors just to see Ciriess manipulation in that game.
The game looks like it would be a ton of fun to play.
It starts with 20 players, the host then secretly decides which of them will be "traitors" and whcih of them with be faithful. Cirie, Cody Califore and a military vet, Christian were named as the traitors. The first night the 3 of them get together and decide which of the players to "murder" and that player is eliminated from the game. The following morning they all meet in the dining room for breakfast and that is when it's discovered who was murdered, the one that doesn't show up. Thn during the day, they all participate in challenges where they can add prize money to what the winner will end up receiving. At night, they have a round table where they discuss who they think might be a trader and everyone votes to banish a player. Once banished, the player revelas if they are a faithful or a traitor. If the traitors are all left at the end of the game, however many are left split the prize money. If they are all banished, however many players are left split the prize money.
The game is right up Cirie's alley and plays to her strengths, she doesn't have any challenges to win for safety, the challenges are all for prize money so everyone is trying equally and nobody is throwing anything.
I'm 4 episodes in and they haven't gotten any traitors out yet, but I give the advantage to traitors. They are really the only ones playing the manipulation game, the rest are basically playing a whodunnit. One aspect that I like is that when they vote after round table, they write names down and then they each show it, so there are no secret votes there. The only bad part about that, is I don't think the traitors should have a vote, but by having each reveal their vote, there would be no way to not count the traitors vote

| [quote="ctown28"]I decided to start watching The Traitors just to see Ciriess manipulation in that game. She does a pretty good job of being the ultimate traitor. Kinda right up her alley. lol. I do like how everyone has to face their vote...nothing anonymous about it. There is also a UK version and an Australian version, both of which are pretty good too. Can be rather brutal. | |

| ok, finished the season, we all know Cirie ended up winning. More details and spoilers ahead
They do get to point, where the group that does the best in the challenge, gets to go into the armory for a chance to win a safety shield, meaning they cannot be murdered (they can still be banished). This was anti-climatic as it was won by the same person all times it came into play. Ic could add strategy on it, as the traitors would know that soe in the group won it, thereby giving the impression that the entire group is safe because he traitors wouldn't want to waste a murder there. After Cody was exposed and voted out, they got to invite another traitor and that person can accept or decline (he accepted and it was the guy with the safety shields), he was only a traiotor for one of the murders so on that won they did pick someone from the group. The thing that is nice about this murder aspect, is that it can really fuck you to try and just fly under the radar, the strategy used by the traitors was to thrown the house into chaos and they were picking off those that "did nothing to nobody"
What was really funny for me is watching Rachel Reilly's reaction to being voted out. We all know how personally she takes things even though she's always the one saying it's "just a game". Her just a game attitude is what got her in trouble nad some people were actually put off by the statement because of the life changing money involved makes it more than just a game. Watching her feud with Kate Chastain made the season for me and made me want to see her return to the BB house (even though I hate returning players) just for the drama that she brings. She hasn't lost her touch to get under peoples skins.
The way the game ends, is that when they get to the final 4, everyone casts a vote, either to "end game" or "banish again", if everyone votes end game, then it's over and they divide up the money or give it all to the traitors if there's any left. If just 1 person votes to banish again, then the vote to banish someone and keep going until they get all end games (makes me wonder what they would do if they get down to 2 and someone votes to banish, it's an automatic tie vote, so they must have a tiebreaker). When we were at 4 it was 2 faithfuls, Cirie and the replacement traitor. All voted end game, but then Cirie voted banish again. This pissed a lot of people off as it looked greedy as fuck that she didn't want to split the money. The way she explained it in her DR was that Arie (the other traitor) has only been a traitor for a few weeks and she was one from day one so he doesn't deserve a cut of the money. The reasoning she gave in game was something along the lines of it being game changing money and she cannot let someone take it away from her. It ws complete bullshit and really tarnished it for her because it the end it looks like just greed. She had told the two faithfuls on the final mission about knowing their life situations and hers (they both had babies on the way). Arie was on the Bachelor and lives an extravagant lifestyle so she was trying to get them to see that he "doesn't need the money" like the 3 of them do. They were pissed that someone would use that situation as a manipulation tactic.
Chap, you will like that they do have a reunion show that happens. Not sure how long after the show is, but it's long enough for one contestant to lose 50 lbs, another to get 5 months pregnant, so there is a nice gap.

| People are falling all over this cast. I'm not so sure about it. Yes, there are some big names there and it will be interesting to see how some of the largest personalities clash with each other. | |
