Tuesday episode 10-17

This entire episode is ridiculous.  Let's start off with the nominations and DR's.  They show Blue talking with Jag and then Blue in the DR saying "I have to remember that the HoH scored 8:30 in the comp and the only one who could do it that fast is Jag".  Are you fucking kidding me with this.  So obvious that was fed to her and that's the best reason they could come up with, not that he's a terrible liar or some bullshit like that.  At least Felicia's reasoning for figuring it out was a bit better.  But it was obvious both of those DR's were filmed AFTER the comp was played and Jag told them it was him.

Now we all had it backwards on who won what comp thinking Blue had won the endurance one.  But I do give credit where it's do for how long she lasted on it.  And of course a comp that is fun to watch play out on the feeds gets robbed from the feeds.

Whoever came up with the idea for the second comp needs to be tarred and feathered and never be allowed to work on a competition show ever again.  Basically that was, "I'm thinking of a number from 1 to 1000, guess what it is"

They also got the punishments wrong.  The punishments should have went to the first two to drop in comp 1, not a stupid guessing game.

And of course now Blue is ecstatic and talks about what a comp beast she is over America becasuse she guessed a closer number.

And of course it ends before Jag makes his decision.  And no mention of HoH from announcer which means we will not see anything HoH related on the episode

They had A LOT of events and conversations completely out of order from the way they actually happened. America talking to Blue telling her she is a target was BEFORE the nominations had actually happened. It is easy to figure out just by the clothes Blue was wearing.

And I was hoping they would show more of the shit Cory and America were supposedly doing while Blue and Jag were up there killing themselves to win the veto. There were several people saying they were barely watching the comp MOST of the time, and instead just laughing and tickling each other and just acting like they didn't have a care in the world. This really pissed Matt off because he was standing right there watching them.

Initially I didn't think Blue won the endurance because they kept talking about her going first at the ceremony, but apparently Jag winning that one gave HIM the option to choose which order they would be done and he chose to go second. That is where the confusion came. And I could not agree with you more about the stupid second comp. They could have done just about ANYTHING to have them actually EARN that veto. Hell, they could have set up a balloon dart board and had them break balloons for points and it would have been better than that stupid scenario. They were just trying to make it possible for Felicia to win it.

I give Blue credit for that comp as well, she killed herself to try to win it and so did Jag. They were talking about how Jag figured out how to stop himself from twirling so much and how to slow the impact of running into the fist thing. Blue said she kept seeing him being able to do that but she couldn't keep her grip if she tried his technique and now watching the comp, I could see what they were talking about.

Now talking about the DR's. Cory and America were having a great ole time talking about how America would have went right after Matt and Jag this week had she won, and Cory saying over and over and over that Jag SHOULD be going after him, etc., but then to see the reaction when it becomes a reality was a bit much. I get it was more America having the overreaction, but Cory was already into saving his ass mode (which is the smart thing to do) and I am guessing he no longer found all those DR comments very funny. America going off the deep end and telling Jag to fuck off on a number of occasions and refusing to even have a conversation with him is the reaction of someone who was completely blindsided and burned by someone really close to them. Like if Cory had backdoored her or something. But if she is plotting how to take out Jag, but he beats her to it, that is supposedly some kind of horrible crime or something?

The part where Jag told Blue was cut shorter than it should have been in my opinion (there was plenty of other crap that could have been cut to make time for it like Felicia looking for something to do in the comic room). He straight up told her that SHE was 100% his target. The comment where he said he had to own it, was right after he told her that part too. I realize she really wanted Cory and/or America to be evicted before her and to have some hand in doing it (for Jared of course), but it still really shocks me that she really seems to have forgiven Matt and Jag and is 100% going for the jugular with Cory and America. She told America today that she sees what Matt and Jag did as a game move, but what America did to Blue was really DIRTY playing. Now do I think she would pass on putting up Matt and Jag, probably not, but the fact that she really doesn't seem to be taking it personal with them is strange to me.

I can't believe with the extended time for the episode that they didn't show the ceremony and leave the fallout for Thursday's show. I am afraid you are correct and once again we won't end Thursday with an HOH being crowned. And if it happens to be the slip n slide, I wouldn't be surprised either, because they seem to want to make sure we don't see that one anymore as well.

Oh the whole thing with America flying off the handle after talking shit in the DR the whole time just magnifies the similarity between her and Rachel Reilly. I get the whole being upset she got blindsided thing, but telling Jag to just fuck off was over the top. Felicia was spot on when she told her that moving forward, do not tell people to fuck off, just tell them you need a little bit of time.

What's really funny is that this HoH was designed to be run in the shadows and get zero blood on your hands, now it is ending up to be the HoH with the most blood. Yes, Blue seems to forgive and forget for now, but that will change.

One thing I didn't mention about the show and the DR's is that Felicia's DRs are actually entertaining. They don't have to tell her what to say, if anything they just tell her what to talk about and let her go.

Another thing I was thinking about these endurance comps. I don't know if you remember or even watch BB : OTT, that was the online only season. They need to take the only thing from that debacle of a season that worked well. Each and every endurance comp needs to be on the feeds. HoH or veto. It's not a big deal to put a veto comp on the feeds as we find out the winner 4-5 days ahead of it being aired anyhow, so what's the harm in letting us see it. I can understand the comps that are played individually and timed, but I know that will never happen as they need to be manipulate who wins. But back to endurance comps, here is the part that makes it so good. You have LIVE DR's during the endurance comp. Obviously the people still competing can't do a DR, but as people drop, they go right to the DR and talk about it. How great would it be to get live reactions instead of scripted DR's as to if they may or may not have been throwing it, what they were thinking, if they just slipped. America falling off the wall could have been a classic live DR. When the show airs, they can edit that shit however they want and cut out what they don't want aired. They do that with so many other things, that it would be no big deal to add this aspet to it

Like I said, I am really disappointed with America. I had high hopes for her really playing late in the game. I knew she was checking boxes for her experience in the house and I knew she was mugging for the camera on just about everything, but she seemed to have some spunk and showed some decent gut feelings about people and an ability to get people talking (although she ALWAYS talked too much). But going off the rails the way she did was just ridiculous.

Sure you are pissed off at first, but she is STILL carrying on about it. She won't even have casual conversations with Jag or Matt. She leaves the room if they come in, she is making things as awkward as possible. Now if SHE had won the HOH and took the shot at Matt and Jag as she said she would, how would she be handling it if they treated her like this? Would she have been a big enough person to offer to talk to Matt and Jag? They aren't going around gloating about it, but she sure would have been. I thought maybe she was doing it so they would evict her like she said initially, but she is telling the others in the house she wants to stay and also that she KNOWS she is staying.

Yes, I would love to see live DR sessions, but production just can't give up their control of the game for that. I am amused by some of Felicia's DR's, but sometimes they are a bit much too. Cory's can be entertaining as well because of his delivery, but they come off fake too. I just wish they would let the people play the game, say what they want to say in their DR's and see what kind of entertainment we get. I would bet money it would be 100% better.

Yes, Felicia's can sometimes be too much, but that's just Felicia being Felicia and not saying exactly what they want her to say. Cory can deliver lines a certain way, but they are still lines or thoughts being fed to him.

Felicia has very little scripted ones, but when she gets so animated about something, you can tell that it's genuinely her. She seems to be the kind of person that when she gets together with her family, certain people in the family say things to her, just to get her riled up and get a reaction out of her, everyone laughs when desired reaction is achieved, she replies with something like "fuck all of you" and they all have a good laugh

I can actually visualize that because she has had those moments with the original group where Cirie, Jared and Izzy wanted to pull their hair out. She can be entertaining, but she still gets on my last nerve MOST of the time.
